Mila Gushchina (Samara, 1993) explores in her works the fragility and anxiety of our time, the fluctuations of one’s internal compass in conditions of total chaos and constant change. The artist turns to images of dreams, animals, mythical creatures and humans, intertwined in a close connection between the demonic and the divine, growing into each other. Mila chooses drawing, painting and embroidery as her main media.

She presented her works at art fairs in Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Moscow. The artist participated in the group exhibitions “Two Wishes” at the Morozov mansion (Grabar Gallery) and “From and to: Fairy Tales for Growing Up” at the Gogol House (Textura Gallery) in Moscow, as well as at the Archstoyanie festival. Two personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Samara.

Lives and works in Russia and Kazakhstan.
